APPALACHIAN CLOGGING

Clogging is an American percussive folk dance originating in the Appalachian Mountains, characterized by "fancy footwork," flat-footed techniques, and rhythmic tapping to bluegrass or old-time music. It blends Irish, Scottish, German, and African influences, often performed in shoes with double-metal taps. It offers excellent cardiovascular exercise, rhythm training, and social interaction.
