Ashley Heath and Her Heathens

Ashley Heath and Her Heathens are an Asheville, North Carolina Americana-rock band led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Ashley Heath. Known for Heath’s rich “velvet soul” voice and blues-rooted guitar work, the band blends thoughtful Americana songwriting with soul, blues, anthemic rock ’n’ roll, jam-band energy and a touch of country twang.

The group’s 2018 release, Where Hope Never Dies, pairs messages of resilience and perseverance with a driving full-band sound. Heath later released Something to Believe through Asheville’s Organic Records in 2022. She has been recognized repeatedly in Mountain Xpress’s Best of WNC voting for vocals, songwriting, blues and Americana/country, and won the MerleFest band competition in 2018.

Ashley Heath and Her Heathens have appeared at festivals including MerleFest, Bonnaroo and Shakori Hills, shared stages with artists including Pat Benatar, Anders Osborne, Black Joe Lewis, Donna the Buffalo and The Del McCoury Band, and toured throughout the United States and northern Europe. Their live show moves naturally from intimate, soulful passages to hard-driving roots rock, carried by songs centered on hope, honesty and perseverance.
