BOOM UNIT BRASS BAND

Boom Unit Brass Band brings New Orleans second-line spirit to North Carolina’s Triangle with a high-impact lineup of trumpets, trombones, saxophones and a deeply funky drummer. Sitting between traditional street-parade brass and the precision of modern groups such as Youngblood Brass Band, the ensemble can move seamlessly from a procession to a full stage show. Their lively performances, infectious rhythms and tightly arranged horn lines have made them a recurring presence at venues, community celebrations and festivals across North Carolina.
