BRAZILIAN DRUM WORKSHOP

A Brazilian drumming workshop is an energetic, hands-on experience centered on the polyrhythmic traditions of Brazil, such as Samba, Samba-Reggae, and Maracatu. Participants typically learn to play a variety of instruments, including the deep-toned surdo bass drums, the sharp-cracking repenique, and smaller percussion items like the tamborim or shakers.
