Funk & Hill

Funk & Hill is the collaborative singer-songwriter pairing of Durham, North Carolina artists Bob Funck and Brian Hill. The project grew from the NC Songsmiths community and from the duo’s shared life on the independent touring circuit, including a two-month, forty-show cross-country run through house concerts, listening rooms, clubs, pubs, and cafés. Their sets bring together Funck’s rhythm-forward Americana writing and Hill’s reggae-informed voice, bass instincts, guitar, and looping experience, creating an intimate, rootsy show built around original songs, harmonies, stories, and spontaneous collaboration.
