PANGEA BAND

Founded in 2012 by Napoleon Jambwa in Cape Town, South Africa, Pangea blends traditional Zimbabwean music and dance with sounds from Southern and Western Africa. Specializing in Afro-fusion, the group weaves traditional and contemporary influences into a powerful, movement-driven live experience. Comprised of accomplished musicians from around the world and now based in Gainesville, FL, Pangea brings the world back together through music and dance, echoing the ancient supercontinent from which they take their name.
