REMEDY TREE

Remedy Tree is a high-energy progressive bluegrass and Americana ensemble hailing from St. Augustine, Florida. Founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife duo Gabriel and Abigail Acevedo, the band initially began as an indie-folk project before evolving into a hard-driving bluegrass outfit with the addition of a banjo player.

Their music is defined by a blend of traditional Appalachian spirit, folk melodies, and modern acoustic influences, drawing inspiration from artists like Old Crow Medicine Show and The Avett Brothers. Gabriel, a Florida State Fiddle Champion, brings a unique "outsider’s approach" to the genre shaped by his Puerto Rican heritage, while Abigail’s background is rooted in family folk and old-time music circles. The band—currently featuring Nathan Beaumont on banjo and Bryce Griffin on mandolin—has rapidly ascended in the bluegrass scene, achieving second place at the 2025 SPBGMA National Band Championship and earning multiple selections as an IBMA Ramble Showcase Artist.

In 2024, they signed with Mountain Fever Records, subsequently performing at legendary venues like Nashville's Station Inn and touring internationally at events such as Ireland's Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival. Known for their lyric-driven songs and "healing" positive energy, Remedy Tree continues to carve a fresh path in modern Americana with acclaimed releases like their 2025 album Beyond What I Can See.
